✅ 🏔️ The Pastoruri snow-capped mountain, also known as the climate change route, is located southeast of the city of Huaraz within the Huascarán National Park. It has an altitude of 5,240 meters above sea level.
✅ ❄️ Years ago it was possible to walk on the glacier, but today this activity is no longer possible.
✅ 🌡️ Over the years, the appearance of Pastoruri is changing due to climate change, as a result of which new lagoons and ice caves have formed, and plant fossils have been discovered.
✅ 🌿 In the Pastoruri circuit, we find the famous Puya Raymondi, known for its large size and flowering.
✅ ⚠️ It is recommended to acclimatize a few days beforehand since this hiking activity will take place at more than 5,000 meters above sea level.
