🔵 🏔️ Alpamayo is a mountain in the Andes mountain range, located in the northern part of the Cordillera Blanca within Huascarán National Park in Peru, with an elevation of 5,947 meters above sea level. It is one of Peru’s most attractive peaks, which is why it was named “the most beautiful mountain in the world” in a Scenic Photography contest organized by Alpinismos magazine in Munich in May 1966.
🔵 📋 Touching Mountains has carefully designed an itinerary to Alpamayo Peak to allow for gradual acclimatization for climbers and thus achieve a successful climb. Compared to other peaks in the Cordillera Blanca, it is quite technical and demanding, so an experienced and professional guide is required to climb Alpamayo Peak. The difficulty level starts at 55° and reaches 90°, with approximately 400 meters of wall.
