🔵 🌄 This famous Santa Cruz trek, considered the classic of the Cordillera Blanca, is one of the shortest hikes that can be done within the Peruvian Andes. This trek is very popular for its spectacular views of the mountains and crystalline lagoons.
🔵 🌄 During this tour, we will only have the Punta Unión pass (4,750 m.a.s.l). On our journey, we will encounter a variety of landscapes accompanied by flora and fauna.
🔵 🌄 By doing this trek, we will have spectacular views of the famous mountains of the Cordillera Blanca such as Chacraraju, Taulliraju, Quiteraju, as well as a perfect view of Artesonraju — well known because it bears the logo of the film “Paramount Picture.” Another famous peak we will see is Alpamayo, considered the “most beautiful mountain in the world.”
🔵 🌄 This program offers a relatively manageable route, as it has a marked trail that allows hikers to do so with the assistance of a horse, making it suitable for all ages.
🔵 ℹ️ NOTE: If you wish to do the classic 5-day Santa Cruz + Laguna 69 trek, the tour will begin in Cashapampa and head to Vaquería. Touching the Mountains will provide you with the most detailed information and will be very helpful.
