BIOGRAPHY OF GUIDE ELISEO CRUZ ANTAURCO

(Founder, General Manager & Touching Mountain)
Born and raised in the village of Llamac, known as the gateway to the Huayhuash mountain range, he felt inspired by the mountains from a young age thanks to his father and family, who were pioneers in the Huayhuash mountain range. At a very young age, he began working in the mountains, first as a kitchen assistant, camp guard, porter, and cook, and later studied at the High Mountain Studies Center – Casa de Guías (Huaraz).
He also studied biology and chemistry, but it was his passion for the mountains that led him to become a guiding professional.
He has worked on popular circuits in Cusco, Arequipa, Puno, and Bolivia.
He has a long history of working in the mountains for various agencies, so he used the experience he gained to form his own company to serve visitors.
He is currently a member of the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations (UIMLA).
