🔵 🌄 This day we head south of Huaraz through the Callejos de Huaylas valley to Conococha, from where we'll observe the Huayhuash mountain range.

   🔵 🚐 Then we head east toward the town of Chiquian, where breakfast awaits us.

   🔵 🚶‍♂️ We continue through the villages of Llamac, Pocpa, and a small mining company to Quartelhuain, where the hike begins.

   🔵 🥾 The hike begins along a zigzag path to the Cacananpunta pass (4,700 m), from where we'll see the first peaks of the Huayhuash mountain range and the famous reddish Pucacocha lagoon.

   🔵 🏞️ We then descend through a beautiful valley that leads us to our campsite, Mitucocha (4,200 m).

   🔵 📏 Distance: 11 km

   🔵 🍽️ Meals included: Snack, lunch, tea time, and dinner.

   🔵 ⏱️ Approach: 7-hour hike.

   🔵 🥾 This day, we begin the hike along the Alpine Route to get a close-up view of the glaciers and reach a viewpoint where we can observe the Mitucocha and Ninacocha lagoons and the peaks of Ninashanca, Rondoy, and Mituraju.

   🔵 🏞️ Then, we hike along a ridge to the Alcaycocha lagoon.

   🔵 ❄️ Along the way, we will see the snow-capped Jirishanca.

   🔵 🌄 Our hike continues to a spectacular viewpoint from where we will see the Carhuacocha, Gangrajanca, Quesillacocha, and Siulacocha lagoons, as well as the famous peaks of Yerupaja and Siula.

   🔵 ⬇️ The day's hike concludes with a descent along a semi-steep route to our campsite, located next to the Carhuacocha lagoon.

   🔵 📏 Distance: 12,500 km

   🔵 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, snack, lunch, tea time, and dinner.

   🔵 ⏱️ Approach: 8-hour hike.

   🔵 🌄 This is one of the most beautiful days of the tour, as we'll hike through a valley dotted with lagoons and very close to the glaciers to the Siula viewpoint (4,500 m), where we'll see the three lagoons and the peaks seen the day before.

   🔵 ⛰️ We'll then continue in the opposite direction to the Siula Pass (4,800 m).

   🔵 🥾 If your physical condition allows, you can take an additional hike to a viewpoint (4,950 m), from where you'll see the peaks of Trapecio, Carniceros, and part of the Raura Mountain Range.

   🔵 ⬇️ Then, we'll descend to our camp.

   🔵 📏 Distance: 15 km.

   🔵 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, snack, lunch, tea time, and dinner.

   🔵 ⏱️ Approach: 7-hour hike.

   🔵 🌄 After breakfast, we'll climb Trapeze Pass for three hours, then take an additional 30-minute hike to the viewpoint to observe the true splendor of the Yerupaja, Siula, and Sarapo mountains, considered the heart of Huayhuash.

   🔵 ⬇️ We then descend a short, rocky path. As we walk, we're accompanied by the Puscanturpa and Cuyoc mountains.

   🔵 💧 Along the trail, we'll pass lagoons. We'll eventually arrive at our Cuyoc camp, which is known for its sunset.

   🔵 📏 Distance: 13 km.

   🔵 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, snacks, lunch, tea time, and dinner.

   🔵 ⏱️ Approach: 9-hour hike.

   🔵 ☕ This day, our morning tea will be earlier because it will be one of the longest hikes.

   🔵 🌄 We begin by ascending to the Santa Rosa Pass, from where we will see the Jurao and Sarapo lagoons and peaks such as Sarapo, Yerupaja in the background, and Siula.

   🔵 🎥 From here, we can observe part of the odyssey that Joe Simpson experienced in 1985 and recounted in his film "Touching the Void."

   🔵 ⬇️ We begin the descent to Jurao Lagoon and continue toward the Siula moraine field, from where we will see the Sarapo and Santa Rosa lagoons.

   🔵 🚶‍♂️ On the way back to our camp, we will visit the famous Simpson Rock, the descent is very gentle and flat.

   🔵 📏 Distance: 17 km.

   🔵 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner.

   🔵 ⏱️ Approach: 7-hour hike.

   🔵 🚶‍♂️ After breakfast, we descend through the Calinca Gorge. Here, we will meet local farmers and see the construction of Andean houses inhabited by the people of this village.

   🔵 🌄 After experiencing this, we continue ascending to our Huatiag camp, located in front of Diablo Mudo Peak.

   🔵 🐑 Very close to our camp, we will find herds of sheep cared for by the local people.

   🔵 📏 Distance: 16.5 km.

   🔵 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, snack, lunch, tea time, and dinner.

   🔵 ⏱️ Approach: 8-hour hike.

   🔵 🚶‍♂️ This day we begin our trek toward our first pass, called Tapush (4,770 m), for an average of 2 hours.

   🔵 🌄 We then descend, observing the Susucocha Lagoon and the Cordillera Blanca mountain range in the south to Angocancha.

   🔵 ⛰️ From here, we begin our ascent to our second pass, called Llaucha Punta (4,850 m).

   🔵 👀 From here, we take the alternate route that will lead us to a spectacular viewpoint where we will observe condors and the peaks of the Huayhuash mountain range, as well as the Solteracocha and Jahuacocha lagoons, which will be our campsite.

   🔵 📏 Distance: 15.7 km.

   🔵 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, snack, lunch, tea time, and dinner.

   🔵 ⏱️ Approach: 5-hour hike.

   🔵 🚌 5-hour private bus.

   🔵 🚶‍♂️ We begin the hike along the left bank of Laguna Jahuacocha to Gochacutan. From here, we approach Laguna Señoracocha to enjoy the intense blue color.

   🔵 ⛰️ From here, we begin the ascent to our final pass, Sambuya (4,750 m). After taking a few photos, all that's left is to descend to Rondoy, where our private transportation awaits us to take us to Huaraz.
